You may get
a prompt to allow an active X script to run. It is for
the embedded videos. If you want to see any of them you
have to allow the script. If you click on any video after
it is playing, it will pause. A side note, the player
and video are hosted on my site now so there is no spyware.
Should you
want to contact me via e-mail, there will never be a link
on here for my e-mail due to spammers. But, if you can
figure this out, you will have my address: cliff@here

August 2002 - Starfish Trek Episode 8:
PB&J
Thank
you all very much for the compliments on my web. It is
a major undertaking and still a raw work in process. Maybe
it is the full moon or something, but I have been driven
as of recent to attempt to have it all completed and perfect
(The Virgo that I am.) in short order denying myself of
sleep until the wee hours in the morning. As a result,
the quality has suffered and it is still quite buggy (Not
at all unlike this place before we cleared most of the
weeds from around the buildings.) Whacking weeds all day
and web designing all night while drinking coffee and
eating crème de cacahoate sandwiches with a generous
helping of the truly magnificent Pedro A Santos Mormon
honey, isn’t exactly doing wonders for my attention
to detail or the cleanliness of my English keyboard (As
opposed to the Mexican ones that you have to hit Alt 64
just to get an @ to send an e-mail.) So, please pardon
any blunders for the time being. I will strive to do much
better. I have also only been using Dreamweaver and Fireworks
since 15 August 2002 after abandoning Microsloth’s
FrontPage 2002 as my web creation software. So I am still
in the learning process. I still haven’t figured
out the mechanics of their frames in the GUI interface.
I am lazy and really do not care to write HTML code for
the whole web. Coming soon to the web; watch for a button
titled “Stories.” I have decided to put my
“Starfish Trek” stories there rather than
sending the mass e-mails to all of my friends and then
answering tons of e-mails requesting me to resend the
undelivered episodes because I was dumb enough to number
them. I do hope ya’ll enjoy them as much as I enjoy
writing them.
I’ll try
to write a Report from South of Town tomorrow. I have
learned a lot in the past few days. For example; I now
know how to send the chiquistas running away without buying
a thing or using any poison at all. I also learned the
medicina for their bites. I’ll tell you later.
Live long and perspire.

A Special Note: While the following
links are the best I have found, they are commercial sites
outside my domain. Some do put spyware on your computer.
It is how they are paid for what they do. As a rule, it
is generally harmless but, those who are concerned should
do a scan after visiting. Search for AdAware from Lavasoft
on the internet, it is free.
